Advantis Logistics City Installs Integrated Fire Protection Systems

Hayleys Fentons, Sri Lanka’s leading company in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, has partnered with Advantis 3PL Plus to upgrade the fire protection and detection systems at Advantis Logistics City. This installation covers a warehouse, a 2,800-square-metre mezzanine area, and an additional 8,300 square metres of storage space.

This project marks a key development in Phase 2 of Advantis Logistics City, Sri Lanka’s largest distribution hub, encompassing 455,000 square feet. Hayleys Fentons had previously completed the fire systems for Phase 1 in 2019, which won a Gold award at the 2023 National Project Management Excellence Awards for Best Managed Project in Construction/Infrastructure Development.

The new integrated system features state-of-the-art detection and alarm technology, ensuring prompt responses to potential fire incidents. The advanced suppression system provides comprehensive protection, aiming to effectively manage and minimize damage to the warehouse inventory.
