The All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association (ACBOA) is set to announce a potential reduction in the price of bread tomorrow (26th). The association’s president, N.K. Jayawardena, noted that discussions were held on July 24th, but no final agreement was reached.
This development follows Trade Minister Nalin Fernando’s warning of imposing a control price if bakery owners do not lower their prices. A final decision is anticipated tomorrow (26th).
