In a groundbreaking initiative, Browns Battery and Tyre Strategic Business Unit has introduced Sri Lanka’s first-ever E-Care Battery Warranty activation in the automotive battery industry. This innovative move transforms the customer experience by eliminating traditional printed warranty cards in favor of a completely paperless solution.
With the new Browns E-Care App, customers can effortlessly activate their warranties through Exide agents. This app, developed in-house by Browns’ Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS), is designed to enhance convenience for both customers and dealers.
The platform is accessible via mobile, web, and SMS, allowing registered dealers to activate Exide e-warranties for purchased batteries seamlessly. Dealers can also view and share warranty information with customers while accessing relevant details on the go. Additional features include the ability to check warranty status by scanning the QR code on the battery or submitting the serial, vehicle, or mobile number. Customers can also locate dealers using live maps, make calls, and request services, receiving alerts for service dates and battery maintenance.
Browns’ BattMobile services will be integrated into the mobile and web applications, providing faster access and enhanced convenience.
The Browns E-Care Battery Warranty marks a significant advancement in the automotive battery sector, ushering in a new era of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
