President of CIPM Sri Lanka, Ken Vijayakumar, emphasized the significance of these partnerships with esteemed higher learning institutions like Horizon Campus and SLIIT. These collaborations aim to inspire students to strive for excellence in human resource management, a rapidly expanding career path globally. The awards ceremony serves as a celebration of the outstanding achievements of the recipients, reaffirming CIPM’s dedication to promoting HRM as an attractive and rewarding career option for the youth.
Among the recipients, Mohamed Ismath Fathima Aathika from Horizon Campus was awarded the prestigious CIPM Gold Medal and a full scholarship for her exceptional academic performance. Aathika’s remarkable achievement, earning the highest CGPA with first-class honors in the Bachelor of Science in Business Management (HRM) degree program for the academic years 2020-2024, was recognized during the Horizon Campus annual graduation ceremony. Similarly, Godapitiya Liyanage Tharushi Yashodha Jithmini from SLIIT received the CIPM Award for Best Performance in Bachelor of Business Administration Special Honors Degree, specializing in Human Capital Management. These honors highlight the dedication and excellence exhibited by students in their pursuit of knowledge and proficiency in the field of human resource management.
