Colombo Business Analytics Forum 2024 Kicks Off at BMICH

The Colombo Business Analytics Forum 2024, hosted by the University of Moratuwa’s Society of Business Analytics (SOBA), is taking place today at the BMICH Jasmin Hall from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This landmark event, the first of its kind in Sri Lanka, aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by bringing together technology providers and seekers on a single platform.

The forum features keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops led by top experts in IT, AI, Data Science, and Finance. With over 50 companies from various sectors, including IT, consulting, telecommunications, and financial services, the event underscores the widespread applicability of business analytics across industries.

Additionally, 170 business analytics students will participate, offering them the chance to engage with industry leaders and explore real-world applications of their studies. The forum provides a unique opportunity for organizations to showcase technological innovations and connect with potential clients and top-tier talent.
