The Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Business Conclave, organized by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is set to take place on May 28 and 29. The Conclave, accessible via www.ioraconclave.lk, will concentrate on key sectors crucial for the economic development of the Indian Ocean Rim region. These sectors include Agriculture, ICT, Logistics, Tourism, SME Development, and Women Empowerment, aiming to foster strategic alliances and explore untapped markets.
As the Chair of the Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum (IORBF) for 2023 – 2025, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is proud to host this event. The Business Conclave seeks to facilitate significant business networking and opportunities by bringing together participating countries like Australia, Bangladesh, France, India, Iran, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, and Türkiye, among others. It aims to capitalize on emerging trends and unlock the immense potential of the Indian Ocean Rim region.
The Conclave will feature various sessions, including plenary sessions and sector-focused breakout sessions, followed by B-2-B meetings. These sessions will delve into topics such as disruptive technologies, sustainable practices, and the future of commerce across the Indian Ocean Rim, offering valuable insights to participants.
