LB Finance celebrated the traditional Awurudu festival on 19 April 2024 with great fervor, transforming its Corporate Office in Colpetty into a vibrant village scene. The staff adorned traditional Awurudu attire, immersing themselves in cultural activities that captured the essence of the festival.
The event was marked by lively music and dance performances, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. Attendees were treated to a delectable array of traditional Sri Lankan food, adding to the festive spirit of the occasion. Special moments were captured using the 360 Glam Video Booth, enhancing the memories of the day.
In the afternoon, traditional games added a touch of fun and camaraderie to the festivities. Among the highlights was LB Finance’s glamorous Awurudu Kumara and Kumariya contest, judged by Alanki Kishani and Madawa Wijesinghe, which brought excitement and elegance to the event.
Various traditional games such as Kanamutti, Aliyata aha thabeema, balloon dance, musical chairs, and Penibambare kept everyone entertained throughout the celebration. LB Finance’s Awurudu festival was a resounding success, showcasing the richness of Sri Lankan culture while fostering unity and solidarity among its employees.
