Mayura Fernando and Aruni Goonetilleke Join PGP Glass Board

PGP Glass Ceylon PLC has welcomed Mayura Fernando and Aruni Goonetilleke to its Board as Non-Executive Independent Directors, effective from April 25. Fernando brings a wealth of financial expertise, having held leadership roles in esteemed organizations such as KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Company, Vanik and Forbes Ceylon Group, and Virtusa. His extensive experience in finance and general management, along with his directorial roles in various companies, adds valuable insight to PGP Glass Ceylon’s strategic direction.

Aruni Goonetilleke, with over 25 years of experience in global financial markets, joins the Board as a financial services expert. She has held leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including roles in credit assessment, risk management, and corporate banking. Goonetilleke’s background in risk management and her directorial roles in other organizations make her a valuable addition to PGP Glass Ceylon’s governance structure.

Fernando’s expertise in finance and Goonetilleke’s experience in global financial markets complement the existing Board members, including Chairman Vijay Shah, S.K. Tiwari, and S.A. Jain.
