Sanasa Development Bank PLC has announced the appointment of Kapila Prasanna Ariyaratne as its new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from October 7, 2024.
Ariyaratne, a seasoned banking professional, brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously served at Seylan Bank. His leadership is expected to guide the bank through its next phase of growth and development.
With Ariyaratne’s appointment, Shanka Abeywardene, who was serving as the Acting CEO, will return to his original position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), according to a stock exchange filing made by the bank.
