Sri Lanka Rupee Weakens to 302.30/43 Against USD; Bond Yields Rise

Sri Lanka’s rupee weakened to 302.30/43 against the US dollar on Monday, compared to 301.90/302.05 on Friday, according to dealers. Meanwhile, bond yields saw an upward trend.

A bond maturing on December 15, 2026, closed at 10.75/80 percent, up from 10.45/60 percent.

A bond maturing on December 15, 2027, closed at 11.80/12.05 percent, up from 11.70/85 percent.

A bond maturing on July 1, 2028, closed at 12.30/45 percent.

A bond maturing on September 15, 2029, closed at 12.45/55 percent, up from 12.20/35 percent.

A bond maturing on October 15, 2030, closed at 12.75/85 percent, up from 12.70/85 percent.
