Transport, Logistics, and ICT Lead the Island’s Booming Export Sector
Sri Lanka’s services exports posted a strong 22.3% year-on-year growth in May 2025, reaching 1,028.5 million US dollars, according to the Export Development Board. This significant boost was primarily driven by robust performances in the transport and logistics sector and the ICT/BPM industry.
