Sri Lanka’s rupee remained stable, closing at 293.00/20 to the US dollar on Wednesday, unchanged from the previous day’s rate of 293.15/20, according to dealers. Meanwhile, bond yields saw a decline.
Sri Lanka’s rupee opened stronger at 304.80/305.20 against the US dollar on Monday, with bond yields remaining steady and stocks opening 0.36 percent higher, according to dealers. On Friday, the rupee closed at 306.00/20 per greenback. In the equity market, Colombo’s All Share Price Index opened 42.93 points higher at 12,119, while the S&P SL20
