The Executive Centre (TEC), Asia’s largest premium workspace provider, continues its strategic expansion in Sri Lanka with a new $750,000 investment. TEC has opened a new floor in the East Tower of Colombo’s iconic World Trade Centre, marking its fourth centre in the country.
TEC initially entered the Sri Lankan market in 2017, establishing two centres in the West Tower of the World Trade Center and another at MAGA One. The new 9,000 sq.ft. workspace offers 160 workstations and premium facilities, including a lounge, co-working areas, meeting rooms, phone booths, and a barista bar, designed to meet international standards and enhance member productivity.
With a current occupancy rate of 96% in Sri Lanka, TEC remains a preferred choice for businesses. This latest expansion reflects TEC’s commitment to South Asia’s growing demand for flexible workspaces. “Our expansion reaffirms our commitment to the Sri Lankan market and our readiness to meet the dynamic needs of businesses in this enterprising economy,” said Manish Khedia, TEC Managing Director for West India, South India, and Sri Lanka.
Globally, TEC continues its impressive growth, with 26 new centres opened in 2023, bringing its total to over 220 centres in 36 cities. Looking ahead, TEC plans further expansions in India and the Middle East in 2024, reinforcing its position as a leader in the premium workspace industry.
