The ceremony, held on 4th April, was organized by the Professional Development Unit (PDU) of IIT–PDU and brought together students, educators, parents, and academic leaders in a formal celebration of achievement. The event focused on recognizing students who participated in the Cambridge English programmes and successfully completed the Linguaskill examination, a globally accepted English proficiency assessment.
The Cambridge Award Ceremony 2026 concludes successfully with strong participation from students across various proficiency levels, ranging from A1 to C1. The Cambridge English Programme offered by IIT–PDU’s PDU Unit continues to play a key role in strengthening English language skills among learners preparing for academic and professional advancement. Certificates were awarded to students based on their performance, reflecting their dedication and consistent progress throughout the programme.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Sudharshan Welihinda, Director and Chief Operating Officer of IIT; Haaziq Feroze, Business Development Manager – Cambridge English Sri Lanka; and Achini Fernando, Faculty Head of the Professional Development Unit.
