Students engaged with poster drawing competition at faculty premises
Amana Bank joined forces with the Environment Committee of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Colombo to observe World Water Day, promoting awareness about water conservation and sustainable practices. As part of the global theme ‘Water for Peace,’ the University organized a poster competition for undergraduates and provided a platform for emerging researchers and scholars to showcase their work and engage in insightful academic discussions. The event was graced by Professor Lasantha Manawadu, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, who delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the importance of fostering a water-conscious society.
