New Anthoney’s Farms showcased its expanding poultry and food portfolio at ProFood ProPack and AgBiz 2026, reinforcing its focus on product quality, food safety, innovation and responsible production as the company marks its 40th anniversary.

New Anthoney’s Farms highlights poultry innovation and product quality at BMICH

The company participated in Sri Lanka’s largest food, packaging and agriculture exhibition, held from 21 to 23 August at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo. Its presence covered four exhibition spaces — D20, D21, D34 and D35 — giving visitors an opportunity to experience its products and learn more about the standards behind its poultry business.

The exhibition appearance continues a strong record for the company at the annual event. New Anthoney’s has previously received recognition for its exhibition presence, including Best Stall in the Food and Beverage category in 2023 and Best Stall, Agri Biz in 2024.

At this year’s event, the company placed particular emphasis on allowing visitors to experience its products directly. Guests were able to sample dishes prepared using its poultry products while learning more about the production processes supporting the brand’s proposition of chicken raised without antibiotics.

The company said its production model is supported by independent testing conducted throughout the supply chain, extending from the hatchery to the final household product. This approach forms a central part of its positioning in Sri Lanka’s increasingly quality-conscious poultry and food market.

A major attraction at the stall was a live cooking demonstration by Sanjula Manoj of Hasalaka, who became Sri Lanka’s first MasterChef winner on 9 May. He demonstrated dishes using HarithaHari and Crizzpys chicken products on 22 and 23 August, connecting the exhibition experience with the company’s role as Official Poultry Supplier to MasterChef Sri Lanka.

The collaboration also highlighted the growing role of food brands in creating consumer experiences beyond conventional product displays. By bringing a recognised culinary personality into the exhibition environment, the company was able to demonstrate practical applications for its products while engaging directly with visitors.

Alongside the cooking demonstration, the company promoted its Crizzpys ready-to-eat frozen crispy chicken range through a social media campaign. The promotion offered three winners the opportunity to enter the MasterChef Sri Lanka kitchen with a Season 1 finalist and develop their own Crizzpys-inspired signature dish.

The initiative formed part of a broader effort to connect the brand with consumers through food, entertainment and culinary creativity. Participants were required to identify the finalist they would most like to cook with, follow the relevant page, engage with the promotional post and tag a friend, with winners announced on 15 August.

Behind the consumer-facing activities, the company highlighted a certification and quality framework covering several internationally recognised food safety and management standards. Its product range meets FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP requirements and carries international Halal certification.

The company also holds a GHG Verification Statement under ISO 14064-1:2018, certified by Control Union Netherlands. According to the company, this makes it the only poultry business in Sri Lanka with that particular environmental credential, adding an environmental measurement component to its broader quality and production framework.

The portfolio presented at ProFood ProPack and AgBiz 2026 extends beyond its core poultry offering. HarithaHari and Crizzpys are complemented by Chicken Havens, a HORECA-focused range developed for professional kitchens, while the Meatlery chain caters to consumers seeking premium meat through dedicated retail outlets.

For New Anthoney’s Farms, the exhibition also carried added significance as the company marks four decades since its establishment in 1986. Over that period, the business has developed a diversified portfolio while building its market position around production standards, product development and food safety.

Its participation in ProFood ProPack and AgBiz 2026 therefore represented more than a conventional product showcase. The exhibition provided a platform to bring together its consumer brands, professional food-service offerings, certifications and sustainability credentials while demonstrating how the company is positioning itself for the next phase of growth.

As Sri Lanka’s food and agriculture sectors continue to evolve, the emphasis on traceability, food safety, environmental responsibility and convenience is becoming increasingly important for both producers and consumers. New Anthoney’s Farms’ latest exhibition presence reflects an attempt to address these priorities while maintaining a strong focus on product experience and brand engagement.

With its 40th anniversary year coinciding with another high-profile appearance at ProFood ProPack and AgBiz, the company enters its next chapter with an established portfolio, a growing collection of industry recognitions and a continued emphasis on innovation and quality across Sri Lanka’s poultry and food sector.
