The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka has announced the hosting of their flagship event, the National HR Conference (NHRC) 2024, scheduled for June 5-6 at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte. Themed ‘Navigating the HR Horizon’, the conference aims to address the evolving landscape of Human Resources amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, economic shifts, and changing employee expectations.
Ken Vijayakumar, President of CIPM Sri Lanka, stressed the importance of staying ahead in this dynamic field to create workplaces that cater to the evolving needs of both employees and organizations. With an expected participation of 1,200 from various sectors and industries, NHRC 2024 is anticipated to be a transformative event, offering HR professionals a platform to assess and enhance their impact on organizational futures.
NHRC 2024 is honored to host Nick Jonsson as its Keynote Speaker, bringing expertise in business networking, mental health advocacy, and personal development. The conference will feature Technical Sessions led by industry experts, focusing on topics such as generative AI in HR management and employee wellbeing, emphasizing HR’s crucial role in fostering healthy work habits and providing mental health support.
In addition to the Technical Sessions, NHRC 2024 will include the National HR Exhibition and the Great HR Debate. The event will also feature the presentation of the Lifetime Gold Award to a distinguished HR leader.
