Jetwing Symphony PLC has announced the addition of Devaka Cooray and Hiran Cabraal to its Board as Non-Executive Independent Directors.
Devaka Cooray, a seasoned finance professional, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the UK. He currently serves as Chairman of United Motors PLC and other prominent companies, and has extensive experience from his 40-year tenure at Ernst & Young, including key roles in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
Hiran Cabraal brings over 35 years of international banking and consulting experience, having held significant positions within the HSBC Group across the Asia Pacific region, and currently serves on the board of Sampath Bank PLC. His expertise spans global banking, risk management, and financial crime compliance.
With these appointments, the Board of Jetwing Symphony PLC is further strengthened, now comprising Hiran Cooray (Chairman), Shiromal Cooray, N. Wadugodapitiya, K.K. Reddy, L.K. Porter, G. Rocchi, S.D. Amalean, M.P.D. Cooray, and H.A. Cabraal.
