SLT-MOBITEL achieved global recognition by securing a Gold Award and a Certificate of Honour at the prestigious 38th Annual International ARC Awards, the world’s largest annual report competition.
The Sri Lanka Telecom PLC Annual Report 2023, titled ‘We are an ‘App’ of Life’, won Gold in the Illustrations: Telecommunications category, and the company also received a Certificate of Honour in the Specialised AR – Integrated AR & ESG category.
This recognition highlights SLT-MOBITEL’s dedication to transparency, creativity, and excellence in corporate reporting, reinforcing its leadership in the telecommunications industry both in Sri Lanka and internationally. The innovative concept behind the annual report, combining illustrations with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, resonated with judges and showcased SLT-MOBITEL’s commitment to comprehensive reporting.
The ARC Awards, known as the ‘Academy Awards of Annual Reports,’ attracted over 1,550 entries from 32 countries in 2024, with SLT-MOBITEL standing out as a top performer in the global competition. Winning entries represent the highest standards of corporate reporting, and only the top 30% of submissions are considered for awards, making this achievement especially significant.
The awards were presented by MerComm, Inc., and judged by a panel of industry experts. SLT-MOBITEL’s success demonstrates its ability to effectively communicate its corporate story and provide exceptional value to its shareholders.
