Sri Lanka Bond Yields Down Ahead of Auction, Rupee Weaker
Sri Lanka’s rupee weakened to 295.60/90 against the US dollar on Thursday, down from 295.05/15. Bond yields declined, and some petroleum payments were covered. A 190 billion rupee bond auction is set. Quoted bond yields for various maturities showed slight decreases, with some remaining steady.
