The Sri Lanka lottery sector has awarded a one-year tender to four private companies for designing, printing, and supplying tickets, enhancing efficiency in national lottery operations.

Sri Lanka’s Development Lotteries Board has officially awarded tenders to four private companies to handle the design, development, printing, and supply of lottery tickets for popular games including Lagna Wasana, Kapruka, Ada Kotipathi, Super Ball, Shanida, Supiri Dhana Sampatha, Sasiri, and Jaya Sampatha. Minister Nalinda Jayatissa confirmed that the selected companies are Toppan Forms (Colombo) Ltd, DPJ Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Grand Export (Pvt) Ltd, and Digiscan Secure Print Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.
The tender process attracted seven bids in total, reflecting strong interest from private firms in Sri Lanka’s lottery industry. Awarded for a period of one year, the initiative is expected to modernize ticket production and streamline lottery operations across the country.
This move underlines the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in the Sri Lanka lottery system while fostering private sector participation. By partnering with experienced firms, the Development Lotteries Board aims to maintain high standards in ticket quality and distribution, ensuring continued public engagement and revenue generation for national development.
