Beverly Hills Polo Club marked its partnership with Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026 by bringing its “Be the Champion” philosophy to the national pageant, connecting fragrance, personal grooming and confidence throughout the contestants’ journey to the crown.
Beverly Hills Polo Club brings fragrance and confidence to the national pageant
The brand served as the Official Fragrance Partner of Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026, accompanying contestants across several key stages of the competition before the Grand Finale at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo on 31 August, where Nethaki Lokugamage was crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka.
The partnership began three months earlier in collaboration with Model with Ruki Academy, Rukmal Senanayake, National Director of Miss Grand Sri Lanka, and Tharaka Gurukanda, National Organiser. The collaboration was designed to create a broader experience for contestants while highlighting the relationship between fragrance, personal expression and confidence.
Beverly Hills Polo Club maintained a visible presence throughout the competition, including the Audition, National Costume, Talent and Personality Rounds. Rather than limiting its involvement to a conventional sponsorship role, the brand incorporated a dedicated grooming component into the programme.
As part of that initiative, contestants participated in workshops focused on “The Art & Science of Fragrances”. The sessions introduced fragrance as an element of personal grooming while encouraging contestants to consider how scent can complement individuality, presentation and confidence.
The initiative was aligned with the brand’s “Be the Champion” positioning, which places emphasis on self-expression, confidence and an aspirational lifestyle. For the contestants, the workshops provided an opportunity to develop their grooming knowledge alongside the other skills required during the pageant.
The Grand Finale also represented a significant moment for the brand’s operations in Sri Lanka with the first visit to the country by Damyan Misirdzhiev, Senior Vice President – Global Sales & Marketing, Beverly Hills Polo Club. He attended the event alongside other delegates and witnessed the conclusion of the three-month partnership.
Misirdzhiev said the lifestyle positioning of the brand made the partnership a natural fit for the event, particularly through its focus on young people and the connection between fragrance, confidence, individuality and personal expression.
The partnership culminated in a special recognition for newly crowned Miss Grand Sri Lanka Nethaki Lokugamage. As part of the Grand Finale celebrations, she received a one-year supply of Beverly Hills Polo Club fragrances as she prepares to represent Sri Lanka internationally.
The sponsorship comes at a time when the brand is strengthening its presence in the Sri Lankan fragrance market through the introduction of its Prestige perfume collection. The range is represented locally by TruVic Consumer and was launched in Sri Lanka in conjunction with Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026.
Ravi De Coonghe, Chief Executive Officer of TruVic Consumer (Pvt) Ltd., said the pageant provided an opportunity to bring the brand’s “Be the Champion” philosophy to life while connecting fragrance with confidence and personal expression.
The launch adds a premium dimension to the company’s existing fragrance portfolio in Sri Lanka. The Prestige Range has been positioned toward a premium, sophisticated and executive-class consumer segment, with fragrance profiles intended to combine an elegant character with contemporary appeal.
The collection comprises four variants for men and four for women, providing consumers with a broader selection within the brand’s premium offering. Its positioning places emphasis on sophistication, confidence and individuality, characteristics that were also central to the brand’s involvement with the national pageant.
The Sri Lankan launch of the Prestige perfume collection through Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2026 also gave the brand an opportunity to connect its product proposition with a high-profile lifestyle event. The pageant provided a platform where beauty, fashion, grooming and personal presentation naturally intersect, creating a relevant setting for a fragrance brand.
The products are available through selected retail partners and locations across Sri Lanka, expanding access to the brand’s premium fragrance offering as it continues to develop its local market presence.
For Beverly Hills Polo Club, the Miss Grand Sri Lanka partnership therefore extended beyond a traditional event sponsorship. Its involvement combined product visibility, grooming education, consumer engagement and the launch of a new premium collection, while reinforcing the brand’s lifestyle identity.
The partnership also illustrates how fragrance brands are increasingly using lifestyle and experiential platforms to build stronger connections with consumers. By linking its products to confidence, grooming and personal expression, the brand positioned fragrance as part of a broader approach to individual identity and presentation.
With Nethaki Lokugamage taking the national title and the Prestige perfume collection entering the Sri Lankan market, the partnership concluded with both a pageant milestone and a commercial launch. For the brand, the collaboration provided a platform to strengthen its presence in Sri Lanka while bringing its “Be the Champion” message to a new audience.
