Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo recently announced a significant leadership transition with the appointment of Nazoomi Azhar as its new General Manager. With a remarkable 25 years of experience managing prestigious hotels in the United Kingdom, Azhar brings a wealth of expertise aimed at revitalizing the hotel’s legacy with a fresh perspective and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Azhar’s distinguished career includes key roles such as General Manager for Grange Hotels and Director of Operations for a prominent UK-based boutique hotel group, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the Hospitality Division. His strategic acumen, team-building skills, and dedication to guest satisfaction resonate with Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s mission of delivering exceptional and memorable experiences.

Kamal Munasinghe, Area Vice President for Colombo Hotels at Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts, expressed confidence in Azhar’s leadership, stating, “We believe that Nazoomi’s vast knowledge and experience will significantly contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.
