Colombo Gets a Revamp! Softlogic Hotel Rebrands as NH Collection Colombo

Colombo’s hospitality scene is set for a refresh as Softlogic Holdings announces the rebranding of its city hotel. Effective June 1st, the property will operate under the renowned NH Collection brand, a subsidiary of Thailand’s Minor International (Minor Hotels).

This move signifies a vote of confidence in Sri Lanka’s tourism potential, particularly in the bustling capital city. Softlogic, in a stock exchange filing, highlighted the “untapped potential and opportunity” for tourism in Colombo.

The 219-room hotel, previously operated by Movenpick Hotels & Resorts, will be transformed into the “NH Collection Colombo Hotel.” Guests can expect the same stunning views of the Indian Ocean and Colombo city, now complemented by the upscale standards of NH Collection.

Minor Hotels is no stranger to Sri Lanka, already operating three other properties in the country: Anantara Kalutara Resort, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, and Avani Kalutara Resort. With over 550 hotels and resorts in 56 countries, Minor Hotels brings a wealth of experience to the Colombo hospitality scene.

This rebranding promises an elevated experience for travelers seeking luxury accommodation in the heart of Colombo. With NH Collection’s commitment to exceptional service and stylish design, the NH Collection Colombo Hotel is poised to become a new landmark for discerning guests.
