The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) has marked a significant milestone in its Future Founders Program with the establishment of The Entrepreneur Club at D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo. This initiative underscores COYLE’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial skills and providing real-world business experience to young students.
On 23 January, the club celebrated a major achievement with the launch of a school souvenir shop, inaugurated by Principal Sampath Weragoda and COYLE Chairman Thushira Radella. The shop, offering uniforms, T-shirts, and stationery, was made possible through COYLE’s seed funding, empowering students to manage business operations, make strategic decisions, and reinvest profits for long-term sustainability. Plans are already in motion to expand the product range, reinforcing the initiative’s success in fostering innovation and hands-on learning.
The project reflects COYLE’s broader mission to mentor and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. Through programs like Future Founders, the organization champions a culture of entrepreneurship among youth, contributing to a resilient and innovative economy.
Looking ahead, COYLE remains dedicated to empowering young entrepreneurs, fostering industry collaboration, and promoting economic growth, ensuring Sri Lanka’s future business leaders are well-equipped to succeed.
