Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) and Tata Motors have unveiled the all-new Tata Xenon Yodha, a versatile and affordable pickup designed specifically for the Sri Lankan market.
The Tata Xenon Yodha features a 3.0-litre Diesel BS4 Intercooler turbo engine and is equipped with advanced safety features such as a Steering Column and ABS brake system. It offers a robust loading capacity of over 1,250 kilograms, making it ideal for small and medium-scale businesses.
Priced at Rs. 4.7 million, the vehicle is available with various financing options from selected financial institutions.
Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicles Head International Business, Anurag Mehrotra, highlighted the vehicle’s commitment to customer needs, emphasizing its lower total cost of ownership and superior performance. DIMO Executive Director Rajeev Pandithage noted that the Tata Xenon Yodha not only meets customer expectations but also supports the growth of Sri Lanka’s auto ancillary industry and job creation.
The launch event in Colombo marked the handover of the first batch of vehicles to buyers.
