HNB PLC has renewed its partnership with Hayleys Solar, the renewable energy division of Hayleys Fentons, to deliver enhanced value to customers seeking solar energy solutions. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at an event at HNB Towers, attended by Kanchana Karunagama, HNB AGM and Head of Retail Banking, and Roshane Perera, Executive Director and CEO of Hayleys Solar.
“The transition to renewable energy is vital for Sri Lanka’s sustainable future, and our renewed collaboration with Hayleys Solar reflects our shared mission. It aligns with the nation’s sustainability goals and our own CSR policies, highlighting HNB’s commitment to integrate sustainable development and responsible banking into our corporate agenda,” said Karunagama.
As part of Hayleys Solar’s new program, Nayak Nowena Nayak, customers will benefit from a low monthly bank installment plan that is less than their current electricity bill. The savings can be reinvested in their families’ futures while enjoying free electricity for the next 20 years.
HNB customers will receive special pricing on solar solutions and preferential interest rates on personal loans for solar purchases. HNB credit cardholders can also access attractive installment plans, including 0% interest for up to 48 months on qualifying purchases.
“The renewal of our partnership with HNB emphasizes our shared commitment to supporting the renewable energy sector during this crucial period for the nation’s economic revival and environmental sustainability. We believe our high-quality products and excellent after-sales services, combined with HNB’s renowned financing options, will greatly benefit those transitioning to solar energy,” stated Perera.
Hayleys Solar will also provide extended warranty periods and specialized after-sales services for their solar products, ensuring optimal performance and ongoing support for installed systems.
