Jaffna’s 3axislabs Expands as MindMap AI Surpasses 100,000 Global Users

Jaffna-based tech company 3axislabs is rapidly expanding its Sri Lankan operations following growing global demand for its services. With nearly 50 successful projects delivered to clients in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and Finland, the company is increasing its workforce to 50 and expanding its office space to accommodate growth. Fueled by a surge in revenue to Rs. 60 million in 2024, this expansion follows a challenging start during the COVID-19 era in 2021.

Co-Founder and CEO Prasanth Subendran stated: “After struggling to stay afloat during COVID-19, we have now achieved significant year-on-year growth. Our latest AI-driven product, MindMap AI, has been a key driver of this expansion, necessitating further team growth. Additionally, our success allows us to contribute to Sri Lanka’s economy by creating an IT hub in the North, with 80% of our USD earnings benefiting staff, suppliers, and local communities.”

MindMap AI, a generative AI-powered mind-mapping tool for brainstorming and project planning, has seen rapid organic growth. Offering a more user-friendly experience than traditional mind-mapping software, it has attracted over 100,000 registered users without paid marketing. The platform currently receives 1,500 daily visits, with an impressive 70% conversion rate from visitors to sign-ups.

With a mission to increase high-quality IT jobs in the North and East, 3axislabs has successfully recruited talent from Jaffna, Trincomalee, Chilaw, Polonnaruwa, Badulla, and Ratnapura. The company’s close proximity to the University of Jaffna has also helped scale operations while retaining local talent. Looking ahead, 3axislabs is focusing on product development, opening up investment opportunities for next-generation AI-driven solutions like MindMap AI.
