A diverse group of religious leaders, led by MP Marjan Faleel, will convene at the International Conference of Religious Leaders in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 7. The conference, supported by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim and key figures like Dr. Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Issa, aims to foster peace and unity among religious communities globally.
Representatives from Sri Lanka, including Most Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera and leaders from various religious associations, will participate in this significant event. The conference, sponsored by the World Muslim League and Jabatan Kemajuan Islam, brings together delegations from 63 countries. It serves as a vital platform for promoting mutual respect and understanding, contributing to peaceful coexistence not only in Malaysia but also globally.
