Mirai Consulting of Japan Explores Investment Opportunities in Sri Lanka

A delegation from Japan’s Mirai Consulting Group recently visited Sri Lanka to explore potential investment opportunities in various sectors of the country’s economy.

Led by Mirai’s Chief Operating Officer Okada Atsushi and international business consultant Shaakir Hussain Sathar, the team met with Export Development Board (EDB) Chairman Kingsley Bernard. The primary goal of their visit was to identify industries that align with the interests of Japanese companies and to assess possibilities for collaboration and partnerships within Sri Lanka, according to an official statement from the EDB.

“During the meeting, the delegation discussed the investment climate in Sri Lanka, explored potential projects and partnerships, and gained valuable insights into the country’s economic landscape,” the EDB statement added.

This visit is expected to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Japan while also promoting investment and economic cooperation between the two nations.

Mirai Consulting is a leading Japanese consulting firm with expertise in areas such as business strategy, market research, and human resources. The EDB noted that the visit highlights the growing interest of Japanese investors in Sri Lanka’s economic growth and development potential.
