Qatar Charity has launched a program to distribute free fertilizers to 3,746 farming families in the Kurunegala, Matale, and Monaragala districts.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Plantation Industries and Qatar Charity.
Each selected farming family will receive a 25 kg bale of urea, Triple Superphosphate (TSP), and Muriate of Potash (MOP) fertilizers.
This initiative aims to improve the living conditions of farmers and address the current economic challenges.
