Rajkumar Kanagasingam Wins Bronze at 2024 Stevie Awards for Tech Excellence

Rajkumar Kanagasingam, Founding President of the Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL), has been awarded the Bronze in the “Executive of the Year – Financial Technology” category at the 2024 Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence. The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled for September at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.

The Stevie Awards, established in 2002, recognize the achievements and contributions of professionals and organizations globally, with over 12,000 nominations received annually.

Rajkumar has actively participated in various international fintech forums as a speaker, moderator, facilitator, and jury member across India, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Vietnam. He is also leading an initiative to draft a report aimed at positioning Colombo International Financial City as a leading fintech hub in South Asia, with support from global fintech experts and Prof. Douglas Arner from the University of Hong Kong.

Rajkumar is the Founder and CEO of the Asian FinTech Academy (AFTA) and has played a pivotal role in several fintech ventures, including the blockchain-based INGOT Coin. His contributions to the fintech sector have been widely recognized, including commendations from prominent figures like Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief Fintech Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
