Mobitel, part of SLT-Mobitel, achieved a 3.6 percent revenue growth year-on-year for 1H2024, despite a 3 percent increase in Value Added Tax. This growth was driven by increased demand for broadband services and streamlined product offerings. Mobitel’s EBITDA improved by 26 percent, and operating profit turned positive to Rs.182 million, up from a loss of Rs.895 million in 1H2023. Net loss reduced by 28.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

Ongoing investments in network infrastructure, including a newly acquired spectrum portfolio, are expected to further enhance network capacity and customer experience.
