Sri Lanka’s rupee opened stronger at 303.00/50 to the US dollar on Wednesday, compared to 303.10/30 on Tuesday. Bond yields remained steady, with specific bonds quoted as follows:

- 15.03.2028: 11.90/12.00 percent
- 15.09.2029: 12.10/20 percent
- 15.05.2030: 12.15/40 percent
In equities, Colombo’s All Share Price Index rose by 3.56 points to 12,121, and the S&P SL20 index increased by 0.17 percent or 6.02 points to 3,580. Market turnover was 14 million rupees.
