The eagerly anticipated “Industry EXPO 2024” is poised to captivate audiences from June 19th to 23rd at the BMICH, promising a showcase of innovation and technological advancement across 25 industries in Sri Lanka. Spearheaded by Minister of Industries and Health, Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, the event will be inaugurated by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering sustainable practices within the industry. Alongside the exhibition, the debut of an international conference and the prestigious “Industry Green Awards” ceremony will further emphasize the importance of sustainable industrial development.

With over 1,300 booths representing diverse sectors, the exhibition serves as a platform for local industries to showcase their achievements and forge international partnerships. Anticipating a significant turnout, the event aims to attract foreign buyers and institutions, facilitating collaboration and business opportunities on a global scale. Concurrently, a National Vehicle Parade and the Industry Green Awards Ceremony will add vibrancy to the proceedings, highlighting the commitment of Sri Lanka’s industrial sector to sustainable practices and innovation.

Throughout the five-day duration, a series of programs organized by the Industrial Development Board will provide valuable insights and support to budding entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders. The collaborative effort of ministries, public, and private institutions underscores the collective commitment to driving economic growth and attracting investment, positioning Sri Lanka as a hub for innovation and sustainable industrial development on the international stage.
