Akram Cassim, Managing Partner of Colombo Jewellery Stores, has been elected as the new President of the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association (SLGJA). The SLGJA, which has served as the apex body for the gem and jewellery industry since 2002, appointed Cassim to the position during its recent Annual General Meeting.
