People’s Bank recently hosted its 20th Annual Inter Branch/Department Quiz at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, showcasing its dedication to staff development and knowledge sharing. The event drew enthusiastic participation from 148 teams across the bank’s network, highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning.
The quiz, attended by Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chairman of People’s Bank, and Clive Fonseka, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, witnessed intense competition. The Treasury Front Office – Team C emerged victorious, clinching the coveted CEO/GM Trophy with exceptional knowledge and teamwork.
Other notable performances included the Strategic Planning, Performance Management & Research Department as 1st Runners-up and the Commercial Credit Department as 2nd Runners-up. The event showcased People’s Bank’s ongoing investment in enriching programs to equip its workforce with the skills necessary for success in a competitive banking environment.
