Lanka Coffee Association Unveils 3rd Sri Lanka Coffee Festival and LCA Barista Championship

The Lanka Coffee Association (LCA) has officially announced the upcoming 3rd Edition of the Sri Lanka Coffee Festival, marking a highly anticipated event in collaboration with Australia’s Market Development Facility (MDF) and Jetwing Hotels. The announcement was made during a press conference organized by the LCA, unveiling the details of this year’s festival. Kushan Samararatne, Chairperson of the Lanka Coffee Association, expressed great enthusiasm for the festival, highlighting its significance as a pivotal gathering for coffee enthusiasts, professionals, and industry stakeholders. He noted the pride in partnering with MDF and Jetwing Hotels to elevate this year’s festival to new levels.

The Sri Lanka Coffee Festival has grown into a premier celebration of the rich heritage of coffee in Sri Lanka, focusing on sustainable practices and fostering innovation within the industry. The upcoming festival is anticipated to be a spectacular showcase of top-quality coffees, talents, and trends in the coffee world. One of the festival’s highlights is the esteemed LCA Barista Championship, bringing together the country’s best baristas to showcase their skills and passion for coffee.

The 3rd Edition of the Sri Lanka Coffee Festival will feature preliminary rounds in Jetwing Lake (Dambulla), Jetwing Lighthouse (Galle), and Jetwing Colombo 07, culminating in a grand finale in Galle alongside the festival.
