Link4 acquires Unifiedpost to strengthen Asia Pacific e-invoicing leadership and expand presence in Singapore’s digital invoicing ecosystem
Link4 acquires Unifiedpost to strengthen Asia Pacific e-invoicing leadership as the digital invoicing platform expands its footprint across the region through the full acquisition of Unifiedpost Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based e-invoicing provider.
The transaction involves the purchase of 100 percent of the shares of Unifiedpost Pte Ltd. from Banqup Group SA, including all assets and customer relationships associated with the company’s operations in Singapore.
The strategic acquisition reflects the increasing importance of digital invoicing infrastructure as governments and businesses across the Asia-Pacific region accelerate the transition toward electronic invoicing systems.
Link4 stated that the move will strengthen its regional presence while reinforcing its role within Singapore’s national e-invoicing ecosystem, particularly within the widely adopted InvoiceNow network.
Unifiedpost Pte Ltd. previously operated as an accredited provider within the InvoiceNow framework, which is part of Singapore’s broader initiative to digitise business transactions and streamline invoicing between organisations.
As part of the acquisition integration process, the Access Point accreditation previously held by Unifiedpost Group and the IRSP accreditation of Unifiedpost Pte Ltd. with the Infocomm Media Development Authority will terminate effective 31 March 2026.
Following this transition, customers will continue accessing services through Link4’s existing accredited infrastructure within the InvoiceNow network, ensuring operational continuity.
Link4 confirmed that all existing Unifiedpost customers will continue to receive uninterrupted service while the integration process is completed. The company has also stated that it will provide a smooth transition path for organisations currently using the Unifiedpost platform.
The acquisition represents a significant milestone for the company as it continues expanding its operations across the Asia-Pacific digital trade ecosystem.
Link4 Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Robin Sands described Singapore as a strategic hub for digital commerce in the region.
“S ingapore is a strategic digital trade hub in Asia. This acquisition reflects our confidence in the long-term growth of e-Invoicing across the region,” Sands said in a statement.
He noted that governments throughout the Asia-Pacific region are increasingly introducing regulatory mandates that require businesses to adopt electronic invoicing systems as part of broader digital transformation initiatives.
According to Sands, Link4 is focused on building the infrastructure required to support organisations operating under these frameworks while enabling businesses to transact seamlessly across borders.
The Link4 acquires Unifiedpost to strengthen Asia Pacific e-invoicing leadership move comes at a time when digital invoicing adoption is accelerating rapidly across both developed and emerging economies.
Government-backed initiatives such as Singapore’s InvoiceNow framework aim to standardise invoicing processes through interoperable networks that allow businesses to exchange invoices directly through their accounting or enterprise resource planning systems.
Founded in 2016, Link4 initially began operations in Australia before expanding its services into multiple jurisdictions throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Today the company supports thousands of organisations across the region, including businesses, accounting firms, and technology providers that rely on integrated e-invoicing solutions.
The company’s platform integrates with major enterprise resource planning systems, enabling organisations to automate accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while improving visibility over financial transactions and cash flow.
By acquiring Unifiedpost Pte Ltd., Link4 expects to strengthen several core aspects of its business strategy. These include enhancing its position in the Singapore market, expanding its regional customer base, and strengthening recurring revenue streams linked to digital invoicing infrastructure.
Industry analysts have noted that mandate-driven adoption of e-invoicing systems is expected to drive long-term growth for technology providers operating in this space.
As more governments introduce mandatory electronic invoicing requirements for tax compliance and digital reporting, businesses are increasingly turning to specialised platforms capable of managing these regulatory obligations.
The Link4 acquires Unifiedpost to strengthen Asia Pacific e-invoicing leadership acquisition therefore aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy, which focuses on scalable digital infrastructure supporting cross-border digital trade.
In addition to welcoming Unifiedpost customers to its network, Link4 has confirmed that businesses currently operating under the InvoiceNow framework will continue to benefit from existing government support programs.
For example, GST-registered businesses will continue to access InvoiceNow services free of charge under current support initiatives administered by the Infocomm Media Development Authority.
Meanwhile, non-GST registered businesses are being offered transitional service options to ensure flexibility during the migration process.
The Link4 acquires Unifiedpost to strengthen Asia Pacific e-invoicing leadership transaction also highlights the growing importance of digital trade infrastructure in supporting regional economic integration and cross-border business transactions.
With governments across Asia-Pacific expanding e-invoicing mandates and digital reporting requirements, companies like Link4 are positioning themselves at the centre of this transformation by providing compliant and scalable platforms for digital invoicing.
As adoption continues to grow, the company expects demand for integrated e-invoicing solutions to increase further across the region’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
