Thakral Pvt Ltd, the official distributor of DJI drones in Sri Lanka, introduced its newest agricultural sprayer drones, the DJI Agras T25 and Agras T50, during a recent launch event in Colombo. Attendees had the opportunity to explore DJI’s latest offerings across various sectors including consumer electronics, enterprise solutions, agricultural technology, and delivery systems.
Agricultural drones have emerged as essential tools for farmers, allowing them to monitor crops and livestock efficiently. These drones provide extensive and high-resolution imagery, enabling tasks such as land imaging, topography surveying, soil and irrigation monitoring, and spraying needs. The DJI Agras T25 and T50 drones feature a dual atomizing spraying system, with the former boasting a 20-liter spray tank capacity and the latter offering a larger 40-liter capacity.
Equipped with advanced features such as DJI Terra, active phased array radar, and binocular vision, these drones support a range of operations from surveying and mapping to spraying and spreading. With over 140 Agras drones currently in operation, this launch represents the largest operation of its kind in South Asia. DJI, a global leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, showcased how its latest products and solutions are poised to revolutionize industries and enhance daily life through practical demonstrations of their applications.
