On Tuesday, Sri Lanka’s rupee opened stronger at 290.30/40 to the US dollar, improving from Monday’s 290.30/45, according to market dealers.

Bond Market Performance:

  • 15.10.2027 bond: Quoted at 10.00/10 percent, down from 10.15/25 percent.
  • 15.02.2028 bond: Quoted at 10.38/43 percent.
  • 01.05.2028 bond: Quoted at 10.45/55 percent, down from 10.55/70 percent.
  • 15.09.2029 bond: Quoted at 10.85/90 percent, down from 10.90/11.00 percent.

Stock Market Highlights:

  • All Share Price Index (ASPI): Up by 0.38 percent (52.20 points) to reach 13,770.
