The company said the smartphone is aimed at consumers seeking professional-grade camera performance without compromising on speed, reliability or everyday usability.
The launch of the Xiaomi 17 smartphone further expands Xiaomi’s premium smartphone portfolio in Sri Lanka as competition intensifies in the country’s mobile device market.
Abans said the Exclusive Xiaomi Store represents more than a traditional retail outlet, serving instead as a destination where customers can experience the company’s expanding ecosystem of interconnected smart devices.
In addition to smartphones, shoppers can explore a wide selection of smart televisions, robot vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, smart security devices, kitchen appliances, wearable fitness products, wireless audio devices and personal care solutions that integrate seamlessly within Xiaomi’s connected ecosystem.
The company noted that it intends to continue expanding the availability of Xiaomi smart home technologies in Sri Lanka as consumer interest in connected living solutions continues to grow.
The opening also reinforces Abans’ position as one of Sri Lanka’s leading consumer electronics retailers, offering globally recognised technology brands through an extensive nationwide retail network.
Consumers can now purchase the complete range of Xiaomi products through the Exclusive Xiaomi Store powered by Abans, selected Abans Elite Showrooms across the country and the company’s online shopping platform, BuyAbans.com.
With the launch of Sri Lanka’s first exclusive Xiaomi retail outlet, Abans aims to make the latest smart technology more accessible to local consumers while strengthening Xiaomi’s presence in one of South Asia’s growing technology markets.
