Veepee Graphics Lanka highlights AI-driven prepress technologies, Extended Colour Gamut solutions, and flexible packaging expertise at Sri Lanka’s leading print industry exhibition
The company participated in the country’s largest exhibition dedicated to printing, packaging, labelling, signage, and graphic communications, held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The event concluded on Sunday after bringing together leading industry stakeholders and technology providers from across the sector.
Veepee Graphics Lanka officially inaugurated its exhibition stall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the lighting of the traditional oil lamp. The ceremony was attended by Director Nalani Madhushani, Industries Ministry Secretary Thilaka Jayasundara, Sri Lanka United National Business Alliance Chairman Tania Abeysundara, and Sri Lanka Association of Printers President Eng. Janaka Rathnakumara.
The exhibition provided an important platform for Veepee Graphics Lanka to present its latest innovations in the flexible packaging industry, highlighting advanced technologies designed to improve print quality, production efficiency, and colour consistency.
Operating as the Sri Lankan extension of Bangalore-based Veepee Graphic Solutions, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality prepress and premedia services through precision, technological innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
The company’s expansion into Sri Lanka was initiated by entrepreneur P. Jaichandra and has since evolved under a new generation of leadership. Natasha Jaichandra, one of the youngest directors in the flexible packaging industry, now plays a key role in driving the company’s future strategy by combining technical expertise with a modern approach to innovation.
Veepee Graphics Lanka has invested in advanced production capabilities, including state-of-the-art machinery, artificial intelligence-driven workflows, and internationally recognised automation systems. These technologies are designed to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of accuracy throughout the production process.
A key technological highlight showcased at the exhibition was the company’s implementation of Extended Colour Gamut (ECG) technology. The advanced colour management system enables superior colour consistency, broader design flexibility, and improved print performance, helping manufacturers achieve higher-quality packaging output while streamlining production.
The company also serves a portfolio of leading regional and international clients, delivering prepress solutions that have earned recognition across Asia and Europe. Its achievements include honours at the prestigious FPLMA Awards in Australia, reflecting its growing reputation within the global printing and packaging industry.
Veepee Graphics Lanka’s leadership has also received industry recognition for operational excellence. Director Nalani Madhushani was recently featured in PrintWeek Asia’s “Women to Watch” segment, where she received the Factory Person of the Year Award for her contributions to manufacturing excellence and leadership.
Speaking at the exhibition, Madhushani reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to raising industry standards in Sri Lanka.
“At Veepee, excellence is not merely a goal, it is a tradition, a responsibility, and a promise that continues to shape the future of print,” she said.
Beyond its commercial operations, the company said it remains committed to supporting Sri Lanka’s economic development by enabling local businesses to improve competitiveness through advanced printing technologies and world-class prepress solutions.
As Sri Lanka’s printing and packaging industries continue to modernise, Veepee Graphics Lanka aims to play an increasingly important role by introducing innovative technologies that help local manufacturers meet evolving global quality standards.
