Dialog Axiata PLC announced that its 5G network has now expanded to over 800 live sites across 24 districts, positioning the company at the forefront of next-generation connectivity in Sri Lanka. The rapid rollout reflects sustained investment in advanced infrastructure aimed at enabling broader access to high-speed mobile services.
The expansion builds on the commercial launch of Dialog 5G Ultra, which initially covered more than 220 sites and served over 1.5 million subscribers. Within a short span, the network footprint has grown significantly, extending services to additional districts such as Ratnapura, Monaragala, Badulla, Vavuniya, Polonnaruwa, Hambantota, Mullaitivu, and Kegalle. This accelerated deployment underscores what the company describes as the fastest 5G network growth in Sri Lanka.
